EXPERT AND AUDITING SKILLS
I offer you my services as an expert on environment- and industry-related projects, especially in Ukraine and other New Independent States. Furthermore, I am an analyst of developments in science, industry, education, environment and social policies in the NIS countries. My professional experience involves reporting for EuroMedia Pressedienst, Germany, writing articles and giving interviews for the media, and membership and service in two learned societies and three Expert Commissions in Ukraine, on European Cleaner Production Board and in a number of governmental committees and councils.I have been closely monitoring West European and American information releases on the former Soviet Union, and I believe I can contribute a valuable insight into the analytical coverage of these territories from an insider standpoint. I have an in-depth knowledge of the state of current affairs and am actively involved in the development of strategies and programs on the various governmental levels. We have recently launched magazine "Constructive Ecology and Business" in Russian, a nation-wide monthly. I am its editor-in-chief. The main goal of our Journal is to create of Environmental Industry Market in Ukraine, and we are showing information in:* Improvement of nature- and resource-saving technology in industry and agriculture.

* Solving of Environmental problems with international cooperation, Investment and business in Environmental Industry.

So, the journal addresses environmental challenges in industry and agriculture using market-oriented approaches. It is intended to be constructive, i.e. to demonstrate feasibility of environmental solutions. Special attention is given to transfer of international experience in applying market mechanisms to environmental management (ISO14000, waste management, industrial symbiosis, pollution prevention, cleaner production, life cycle assessment etc.).
The basic direction of a magazine -search for constructive ways to solve the ecological problems of industry and agriculture in conditions of market economy. It's especially important for transition economies countries. The matter is that the market changes in economy of Ukraine and other NIS are connected with restructurization, privatization, military conversion of a lot of functioning plants. We have severe environmental effects of these processes and economic transition.
A world experience shows, that the economic and environmental problems cannot be solved separately. We need in complex approach, based on optimization of technology. The industry is not always ready to solve these problems because of a lack of the information.
The basic principles of our edition are its CONSTRUCTIBILITY - i.e. demonstration of an opportunity for the effective decision of ecological problems, and the PROFESSIONALISM (the magazine is conceived as a professional edition by the professionals for the professionals).
As a result, an information network for the New Independent States will emerge. Unlike existing ones, this network will serve industrial ecology professionals, assisting them in research, consulting, auditing, assessment, training, organization of conferences etc.
Another project may be what is called a technological business hothouse (Р’В«incubatorР’В») - http://www.ukrainebiz.com/technical/tbi.htm - focusing on environmental R&D projects for the NIS and third world countries and utilizing technologies from the former USSR and the West.
